very cute vintage mini doctors case style purse, gold colored latch at top, short brown handles very stylish, excellent condition for an antique purse.
Late 40’s styling, but its superb condition indicates it might date into the early 50s. Body is gathered and pleated below the rigid frame for a pouch/slouch look, but has a stiffened bottom. Lining is a red plastic, with zippered pocket, good condition for plastic.
The real stars of this bag are its unique handle and its clasp. I just love the clasps on vintage bags, don’t you?
Large but sophisticated, measures approx. 6″ H x 12″ W x 4″ D; 4″ handle drop. Excellent to near-mint. bag appears to either have been used very little or cared for well.
